Codoforum v.3.0 released

We are pleased to announce the release of new version of our forum Codoforum V3.0

Our primary focus for this release was the permission system.

Here are some of the major changes:

Slide in menu for mobile

The mobile menu that used to drag from the top has been replaced with a beautiful slide in menu that offscreens content when opened for better focus on the menu.



We have also made it possible to open the menu by just dragging the left side of the page on your mobile.

Permission system

We have created a very powerful permission system that makes is possible to set permissions even at thread/topic level.

You can add/remove roles from the role manager. You can set permissions for each roles that are automatically inherited by all created categories.

The permissions of a specific category can be changed from the category list page.

To make editing permissions simple, we have provided a help block that provides description for each and every permission available.

We have made a couple of performance improvements as well as fixed many bugs.
